{"id":217,"date":"2016-04-04T17:44:33","date_gmt":"2016-04-04T17:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/darylwhite.net\/?p=217"},"modified":"2016-04-04T17:44:33","modified_gmt":"2016-04-04T17:44:33","slug":"projector-modifications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/darylwhite.net\/index.php\/2016\/04\/04\/projector-modifications\/","title":{"rendered":"Projector Modifications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the new reflector fitted everything was looking great however I soon discovered that all the ports such as HDMI, Audio Out and USB were blocked by the large heatsink keeping the new LED array cool.<\/p>\n<p>I had 3 options :<\/p>\n<p>Unsolder the HDMI connector and extend it.<br \/>\nMove the PCB to outside of the projector housing.Find a smaller heatsink.<\/p>\n<p>I choose to simply move the PCB and so 2 slots were cut into the top housing to allow the flat flex LCD cable and control panel cable through.
